Technique Tuesdays
This is a great technique to create fascinating effects. The chef is stamped three times!
First, he is stamped on white cardstock and I gave his face and hand a little color using my Blender Pen and Stampin' Pastels.
Second, I stamped the same chef on both So Saffron Designer Series Paper and Regal Rose Card Stock. On the DP paper, I cut out the jacket and hat and attached it right on top of the chef. Then I also cut out the scarf and cuff in the Regal Rose and layered them on top of the jacket. As you can tell, the jacket hangs off the white card stock which is another neat effect giving the chef more dimension. The piece of pie was done the same way stamping it twice and cutting out the different parts. I do have to admit that cutting the crust was a little tricky but I just needed to slow down a bit. Some things take time and can't be hurried.
The stamp set is called Voila for the chef and birthday greeting. The piece of pie is from the coordinating set Voila to Go. Lastly, I used the 1 3/4 inch circle punch to cut out the greeting and I adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up a little.
Enjoy! Tanja
