"Singing in the rain" followed by a beautiful Saturday

What a beautiful Saturday for the Valley Center Fall Festival. The weather was georgeous and we had a wonderful spot for our booth right on Main Street in Valley. Thanks to all of you who came and visited me.

I was supposed to have the booth all ready to go on Friday by 5 p.m. As you can see, at 3 p.m. it started raining (Victoria obviously didn't mind). It still hadn't quit by 6 p.m. and so Rich and I decided to go get a tent for our spot because the clouds seemed to have no end and even if it quit raining, it could have started back up at any time. So by 8 p.m. we were set up in our booth and we watched all the high school kids (can I call them kids or does that make me sound really old?) pour in after their homecoming game.

Victoria didn't care about not being able to set up the booth. She was singing and dancing in the rain. And we really enjoyed the new tent on Saturday since it was great to be able to sit in the shade.
