A Card with a Topper

This card is actually an envelope with a topper!

Making it is quite simple. I cut the topper out of Glorious Green cardstock with the Big Shot using the Top Note die. I scored it lengthwise and closed it with the Rhinestone Brads. The Merry Christmas greeting is from the Four the Holidays set.

The topper works really well with the unusual long but narrow envelopes that you can find on page 168 of the IBC (Small Open-End). I closed the end, cut it off and then used my large oval punch to nip it so when I insert the card, the top of the pull out tab can be seen. The snowflake is from the Berry Christmas stamp set and I stamped it in Real Red.

The card is made with Whisper White and Glorious Green cardstock where the green CS is cut a bit smaller than the envelope. The pull out tab is cut with the Round Tab Punch. Rudolph is from the A Holly, Jolly Christmas set and I stamped him in Chocolate Chip. I colored his nose with a Real Red Marker. Wow, I have packed three different stamp sets into this card. Enjoy!
