I ordered my first SU! calendar several months ago in the spirit of starting my Christmas gifts earlier this year than I did last year. Well, here it is October and I am only now starting it. Of course, I started with October because I have this adorable picture of my girls from last Saturday when we went "trunk and treating" in the church parking lot.

I have a friend who raves about this
SU! calendar and now I can testify to it myself. The calendar comes with layout instructions that show exactly what page to use for which month which takes all the guesswork out of it. I have done lots of calendars in years past but this is my favorite. It stands up on the desk all alone AND when the year is over, you can put the pages in a 6 inch by 6 inch scrapbook to marvel at the year in review. For each month, I choose a picture taken in that month. Next October as the girls get ready for trick and treating, we'll be looking at the costumes they wore this year. My favorite are the birthday months. I always include the birthday girl.

As you can tell, the girls were dressed up as Tinker Bell and a Snow Princess. So for my page, I chose an orange piece of DP from the
Rich Razzleberry Lemonade set and I stamped it with
Champagne Mist shimmer paint. You can see them pretty easily in this close up. The real thing looks much better. What I LOVE about this page is that I stamped
Upsy Daisy flowers on the bottom and Snowflakes (
Berry Christmas set) at the top of the page. Just magical. But so are my girls.

Don't have too much fun stamping without me!
