"Dressing" up a jar!

This jar used to contain my favorite salad dressing so of course, I figured it wanted to be dressed up a little more when I was done with it.

So I filled it with M&M's and tied my prettiest ribbon around the top. And the ribbon set the stage for my color combination: Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White.

The lid is what makes this project. I traced it onto the Rich Razzleberry card stock and cut it just a little bit smaller than my outline. I stamped the snowflake from the Berry Christmas stamp set on Whisper White and punched it with my circle punch. Now to make the lid really perfect, I glued the two round pieces of paper into the lid and then covered them with Crystal Effects. This is probably my favorite "special effects" substance. It has a glue like consistency and squeezes out of the bottle with a little milky shine but it dries clear. In this case, I put it on fairly thick and let it dry over night. It covers my paper and makes it look like it is part of the lid.

Don't have too much fun stamping without me.
