Beautiful and so simple

This card has a little of everything: dry embossed butterflies, faux stitching and a little “punching.” The color combination is really pretty using Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzaz.

The butterflies are cut using the Beautiful Wings die and the Big Shot and the lines aren’t stitched but are drawn by hand using the Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen. This is a great way to get a stitched look without sewing (hence faux stitching). The greeting is from the Short and Sweet set and it is stamped in Not quite Navy on Whisper White Card stock. I punched an oval opening into the card and layered the greeting behind it. The white window background coordinates very nicely with the white stitching on the card.
