Consistent Scrapbooking is the key to keeping up!

The key to keeping up with your scrapbook pages is to sit down regularly and do them.

Is your scrapbook on the list of your new year’s resolutions?
  • Is this something you already love or would like to learn how to do but you don’t ever seem to find the time?
  • Would you like learn more scrapbooking techniques and do your pages in a fun setting?
Then try a scrapbook club. It is an easy way and fun time to sit down with other scrapbookers (young and old, new and experienced) once a month and finish two double page layouts. Here are some examples of pages we did last year:

Aren’t these three layouts great? Are you interested? My scrapbookers pay $40 at the beginning of the club to purchase their materials. They get to pick which Designer Series Paper or which Simply Scrappin’ Kit they like, I pick the remaining paper and embellishments to complement their selection.

Then we meet once a month for the next 5 months and pay a flat fee (based on class size, I offer single sessions for $20, two person sessions for $15/person and 3 or 4 person session for $10/person) where everyone creates their scrapbook pages following my layouts. Best of all, I offer morning, afternoon and evening sessions (each last about 1.5 to 2 hours). So you can come while your kiddos are at preschool or when Dad is home to watch them in the evening. In five months, you finish ten double page layouts (we work with 12 by 12 scrapbook pages, other sizes are available on request).

 Additional benefits include:
  • Learn techniques that you can apply to all your paper crafting, like rainbow embossing or faux tearing (those are up for January and February).
  • Try new color combinations that might push you out of your comfort zone to give your pages some extra pep.
  • Have access to all my supplies. Do you want to do flowers instead of snowflakes? No problem.
  • Use my layouts as your foundation but then add extra embellishments or change things up.
  • Bring your pictures to the session or add them later.
  • Do you have a group of friends with whom you’d like to do this? Then book me as your creative coach for the whole group.
Interested? Then send me an email today or call me at 305-5207 because we are ready to start in January! Would you like to do a virtual scrapbook club? Email me or leave a comment to this post. If there is enough interest, I’d be happy to put one together.
